Israel Pulls the Strings | Col Doug Macgegor
The world you thought you understood is being dismantled — and almost no one in mainstream media will tell you how or why. Retired Colonel Douglas MacGregor has spent decades inside the machine: advising the Pentagon, commanding forces in combat, watching the decisions that shaped today’s catastrophe from the inside. In this interview, he is unsparing. Iran, he says, is unconquerable — and the United States is being driven out of the Persian Gulf. The Strait of Hormuz, the chokepoint through which a third of the world’s oil flows, has become the fault line of a confrontation that Washington is not prepared for and cannot win. When that corridor closes, the Gulf states — whose stability depends entirely on American security guarantees — will collapse. What follows is a global food and fertilizer crisis of a scale modern civilization has never faced, because the supply chains that feed billions run directly through that region.
MacGregor goes further. The dollar’s days as the world’s reserve currency are numbered — not gradually, but abruptly, as the Moscow-Tehran-Beijing axis accelerates a coordinated departure from the petrodollar system and gold reasserts itself as the only trusted store of value. American military hegemony, the post-1945 architecture that underwrote global order, is already over — the Ukraine war has simply made it visible, bleeding NATO of weapons, credibility, and political cohesion faster than anyone in Brussels or Washington will admit publicly. The consequences are not confined to foreign battlefields. MacGregor warns of serious civil unrest coming to both the United States and Europe, driven by economic collapse, the immigration crisis, and populations who will eventually understand that their governments have been lying to them — about the wars, about the money, and about who is really in control.
